J & K's 1st home bred Anglo

Our first anglo foal was born on the 16th of December at 7am. We have been eagerly awaiting this foal, our only for the season. He is very upstanding and correct and we expect he will have a stellar career, either as a performance horse or like his half brother become an endurance star.

Rokewood Shakr Finds a Wonderful Show Home in Qld

Congratulations to Mel Larsen on the purchase of Rokewood Shakr.

We wish Mel the best of luck with 'Oliver' and we are sure will continue his show career in the successful style in which he began, and we very much look forward to hearing of their success.

D'Amors Sorayaa Shaklan joins Jesris Jalil  in South Australia

D'Amors Sorayaa Shaklan was recently sold to Katie Garrard in South Australia and will join her old stable mate Jesris Jalil.

With 'Lilly' now under saddle Katie has a young halter horse in Sorayaa to keep her busy as well.  We are sure she will enjoy Sorayaa immensely, with her lovable nature and great show ring attitude.

We wish Katie the best of luck with both girls, and look forward to seeing them both out and about next show season.

Surprise Success at 2007 Aussies

With our team turned out for the winter we made the trip to the Aussies this year as spectators.  While we missed having horses it was also great to have the time to sit back and enjoy the company of friends and have to opportunity to watch a heap of classes.

Chris was delighted when he was given the unexpected opportunity to show Trincada Spirit in the Derivative Gelding Shown by a Youth where they were awarded a Top 10 placing.

He also took both Trincada Spirit & Trincada Sprite in the Parade of Past Champions, where he did a fabulous job showing them off.

A huge thank you to all who made these experiences possible for Chris, he had a wonderful time, as evidenced by the enormous grin!

A New Filly for J & K Arabians

We are very happy to announce the purchase of Fairview Silver Scelebration (pend).

Scelebration is by the fabulous SK Shakla Khan and out of the beautiful Windella Silver Shadow.  We are ecstatic to have purchased this stunning filly and eagerly await her arrival in May.

Welcome Eastwinds Standing Ovation

It is with much excitement that we welcome Eastwinds Standing Ovation.

Owned by George Galea, this wonderful young stallion arrived on January 2nd 2007.   He will be a member of our show team for the remaining shows of this season and stand at public stud to a limited number of mares for the 2007/2008 breeding season.

VALE  Maaritza Khan

Maaritza passed away suddenly on Thursday morning, 21st of December 2006.  Our only comfort is that her passing was instantaneous and she did not suffer.  We are absolutely devastated by this loss, of not only a truly superb Arabian, but more so of a treasured friend and companion.

The Arabian horse world has lost a true ambassador and she will be terribly missed.

To read about Maaritza's life please visit her page.  We will have her story complete in the not too distant future.

Success In New Zealand

Silvio has recently returned from New Zealand where he showed a number of horses for Landseer Stud Arabians.  The North Island Championship Show, Auckland Arabian Spectacular was held on Sunday December 10th.  It was a successful trip with Silvio leading Coolinda Park Captivater AU to Champion Led Purebred Stallion & Taralea Adjani to Champion Led Purebred Mare.

We wish to thank Arnaud, Wendy & Nicky for the opportunity to show their lovely horses, and we very much look forward to seeing them again in February for the NZ Nationals.  Once again the beautiful Arabian Horse has been the foundation of new friendships.  It was great to catch up with other friends over there as well.

Jewel & Her Daughter Move To Forest Hill Arabian Stud

It is with a heavy heart we must say goodbye to these 2 beautiful girls.  With the current drought conditions we have had to drastically reduce our numbers.

We wish both Don & Pat Amor and Jenny & Peter Pond all the best for the future with these two magnificent mares.

VALE  Amira El Saghira FA

Sadly Saghira passed away on Wednesday afternoon, the 25th of October 2006, almost exactly 12 hours after her latest Grandchild was born.  The Arabian world has lost a true icon and she will be greatly missed.

To read about Saghira's life please visit her page.  We will hopefully have her full story complete in the not too distant future.                                                             Photo by Karen Carr

D'Amors Abdulla Moves to New Zealand

It is with mixed feelings we announce that the much loved D'Amors Abdulla is moving to New Zealand.

He is now owned in partnership by Don & Pat Amor together with Paula Humphries of Dundevale Arabians, Fairlie, New Zealand.

We were very sad to see Abby leave our shores but at the same time we are excited for Paula and hope she has as much fun and success with him as we did here.  We firmly believe he will have a profound influence on many breeding programs in his newfound home.                                                                                                                                                                       Photo By Nicole Emanuel

D'Amors Montoyaa Heads Back To QLD

Congratulations to Debbie Hage of Queensland who has purchased Montoyaa.  'Toys' will stay here with us until March, and will then make the trip to Toowoomba where Debbie will finally get to take her home.  She will also be competing at the Aussies where Silvio will show her in the yearling filly class, while Debbie will show her in her AOH class.

We wish Debbie the best of luck with her new steed, and are sure they will form a great partnership.

Our Only Foal for 2005

Jesris Maahrus a stunning  grey colt born Sunday the 9th of October.

Although we were hoping for a filly from this breeding, Maahrus is so far everything we could have hoped for in a colt.
