Maahrus was born early morning  on the 9th of October.  He was not due to arrive for three weeks and Maaritza showed no signs of imminent labour as we headed off to Bendigo for the weekend.

A call home on Sunday morning and we were told we had a new foal just up and
suckling.  On such a foul day our sincere thanks must go to Harvey & Lorraine Pearce and Faye & Trevor Parkinson for their efforts to get both Maaritza and Maahrus inside out of the wind and rain.

We are extremely pleased with Maahrus as he has a great top line, neck set and a very pretty head.  He also possesses both of his parents' awesome attitudes.

Maahrus will be Chris's show gelding for the 2008/2009 show season.
